Shipping policy
Where we ship
We ship anywhere in Colombia, and to the United States and Canada. If you are somewhere else, write to us before ordering and we will confirm whether we can reach you and at what cost.
We roast to order
We roast in small batches, and your order is roasted for it. That means dispatch follows the roast, not the click: we would rather your coffee leave a day later and arrive fresh than sit on a shelf waiting for you to buy it. The roast date is printed on every bag.
Dispatch and tracking
When your parcel leaves our warehouse we send you an email with the tracking number and a tracking link. If you have not received that email and believe you should have, write to us with your order number.
Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight of the order, and shown to you in full before you pay. There are no charges added after checkout by us.
Transit times
Transit time depends on the destination and on the carrier, and is not something we control once the parcel is handed over. Customs inspection on international orders can add time that no carrier can predict. We will always help you trace a parcel that seems to have stalled.
Changing your address
You can change the delivery address as long as the order has not left our warehouse. Write to us as soon as possible with your order number. Once the parcel is with the carrier, the address can no longer be changed from our side.
Incorrect addresses and undelivered parcels
Please check your address before confirming the order. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or incorrect, or because nobody was available to receive it after the carrier’s attempts, we will contact you to arrange a new dispatch. The cost of that second shipment is charged again.
Customs, duties and taxes
For orders shipped outside Colombia, duties, taxes and any customs procedures in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility. They are not included in the product price or in the shipping cost, and they vary by country and by order value. We cannot calculate them in advance or pay them on your behalf.
Freshness on arrival
Coffee does not spoil, but it fades. We recommend drinking the coffee within 30 to 45 days of the roast date printed on the bag, and storing it in its original bag, tightly closed, somewhere cool, dry and dark — not in the fridge or the freezer.
Damage in transit
If the parcel or the bag arrives damaged, write to us within five (5) days of delivery with photographs of the product and of the packaging. This is covered by our refund policy, at no cost to you.
Wholesale and scheduled delivery
Cafés, hotels, restaurants, roasters and distributors work on scheduled delivery under a supply agreement, with roast-to-order batches and terms agreed in advance. Those terms take precedence over this policy. Write to us to set one up.
Contact
For anything about a shipment, write to us through our contact page with your order number. We reply Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Colombia time).
